Community Outreach

Holton Cares is dedicated to meeting people where they are — in spirit, in need, and in community. Through food drives, resource distribution, educational workshops, and compassionate connections, we bring hope and practical support to individuals and families. Our outreach programs aim to uplift, empower, and build lasting bridges that strengthen the heart of our community.

Holton's Food Pantry

The Holton Food Pantry provides essential support to individuals and families in need. Stocked with staple foods and household necessities, it operates with dignity and compassion—ensuring everyone who walks through our doors feels valued and cared for.

Thanks to generous donations, we maintain a small supply of perishable and non-perishable items to assist families facing hardships or emergency situations.

Tutoring & Mentorship

The Holton Cares Mentorship & Tutoring Program connects students with caring mentors and skilled tutors who inspire, guide, and equip them for success. Through personalized academic support, life-skills coaching, and positive role modeling, we help youth build confidence, reach their goals, and recognize their full potential.

We also partner with organizations and clubs to provide mentors, tutors, workshops, game nights, and more—serving children, young adults, and families who may lack access to the resources that can improve their quality of life.

Blessing Baskets

Blessing Baskets are thoughtfully filled with essentials that bring comfort, care, and hope to those in need. Each basket offers practical support while reminding families that they are seen and valued.

Through fundraising, donations, and volunteer efforts, our annual Helping Hands Food Drive provides customized Blessing Baskets with toiletries, household items, dairy, meats, produce, and enough food to support families throughout Thanksgiving and beyond.
